Hi, I’m Sanaa
You want a meaningful life.
One where your actions align with your values, where you feel emotionally grounded, and trust yourself. You're curious about who you really are. You want to grow from your past, set boundaries that feel good, and move through life with more confidence, clarity, and peace.
You’re also someone who wants to make a difference—through your family, your community, your ideas.
But maybe you need some support along the way.
That’s where I come in.
I walk alongside people who are ready to live with more intention, depth and self-trust. I can help you tune into the experiences and wisdom that you already have.
My work is rooted in lived experience and years of deep, integrative study. I’ve spent over 13 years in my own therapeutic process—with multiple therapists, psychiatrists, and family counselors—so I know firsthand how frustrating the traditional model can be: the slow pace, the weekly sessions, the effort it takes to get to the root of something that feels just out of reach.
That’s why I’ve chosen to work differently.
Through ongoing training in compassionate, neuroscience-informed approaches, I endeavor to hold space in a way that invites your inner wisdom forward. Whether you’re looking to build self-trust, deepen self-esteem, or transform how you relate to yourself and others—I’m here to help you access what’s already within you.
This isn’t just my profession. It’s my practice - with myself. With my clients. With the therapists and students I guide.
Let’s walk this path together.

I’m an entrepreneur and a creative. In my previous career I launched two fashion brands. If you’re here you are also probably persistent, curious, or creative in some way. I’m a Licensed Counselor. I have a Masters from Fordham University, a Fashion Marketing degree from Parsons the New School, and a Bachelors in entrepreneurship from Babson College. I love learning. I am constantly taking courses and learning new methodologies so that I can pass along skills to my clients. Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a session cost? Do you take insurance?
My 1:1 sessions are $300 for 55 minutes. My couples sessions start at $350 an hour. My fees reflect my professional experience and ongoing professional trainings and consultations.
I’m considered out of network for insurance purposes. My clients pay out of pocket.
Do you offer life coaching?
Yes, I believe in offering directive and practical coaching that aligns with the natural wisdom of my clients. I am integrative, so I use my skills to offer support to my clients. Because I am trained in brain-change approaches, I will be using skills and guidance in our coaching sessions to meet your goals and hopes for yourself.
I offer life coaching to highly motivated clients who want to be active participants in the change that is already inevitably happening in their lives.
Are you South Asian? Are you 3rd culture? I’m looking for a therapist who “gets me”
Yes, I’m 2nd gen South Asian. You want to feel like your culture and family dynamics are understood. I get it. I work with other South Asian clients on issues such as gaining self esteem, trusting yourself, discovering family dynamics, shifting unhelpful patterns, setting boundaries, dating, marriage, in-law issues, moving towards more secure relationships, breaking cycles of criticism and shame, handing down good patterns to your kids. And yes, I know this work on a deeply personal level, too.
I really want to work with you, but I’m a student. Do you have a sliding scale?
I occasionally take on students at a reduced fee.
Do you recommend weekly sessions?
I am all for short-term therapy. I like to initially build a strong foundation with clients and then revisit therapy on an as-needed basis. But at first, I recommend doing weekly sessions to have a chance to dive deeply into problem solving, experiential work, creating new patterns and setting reachable goals.
Do you do intensives?
I offer 20-hour intensives. Both couples or individuals can do 2 or 3 hour sessions for 10 sessions in total. Intensives are pre-paid and we will put our 10 sessions in our calendars. You can use couples intensives as individual sessions as well. Since intensives are just that - “intensive”- I recommend that we do all 10 sessions within a short timeframe such as 5 weeks.
I also offer couples one single intensive sessions for 2 or 3 hours. These sessions are good if you feel stuck in your relationship or your couples counseling journey and want hands-on coaching to discern what work you need to do in your relationship.
My partner doesn’t want to come to therapy, should I start therapy by myself?
Yes!
You are part of the relationship. If you try to become healthier in any way, you will either get your partners attention or you will shift the relationship through your newfound strengths. Either way, individual therapy can help you understand your relational patterns.
I’m a therapist, can I consult or train with you?
Yes, we can do a 1:1 consult for $300 an hour. You can also join my STAIR-informed Experiential Consult Groups. Please get in touch to book a consult with me.
What is your approach?
I am always learning, so I bring an eclectic and integrative approach to our work together. I am collaborative and experiential. I value your truth and look to use the wisdom you already possess in order to help you grow. Most importantly, I am on this journey with you: I offer you skills and experiences that have benefitted me greatly over the years.
Shorter sessions: I work 1:1 with you in a more “traditional” therapy hour (of 55 mins)
Longer sessions: We can do 10-hour or 20-hour intensives at 1-3 hours at a time
Discernment sessions: For couples who are asking “should I stay or go?” or working out some other hard question, I offer one 3-hr session.
